Publisher Information and Releases
Anco Software Ltd. was an independent gaming company in 1986 founded by former Anirog founder Anil Gupta.

They made software for the VIC-20, C64 and Sinclair Spectrum.
The company sold also titles of Kingsoft. Kingsoft allowed its games outside Germany through Anco distribution.
The collaboration went so far that the same font used for the company logo and even logos.

Anco had hits with the football game series Kick Off (1989) and Player Manager (1990), which were released for a number of systems, including consoles.
Around the mid-nineties the company shifted from a publisher to a pure developer having publishing deals with companies such as Maxis, Ubi Soft and 3DO.

In 2003 the company was disbanded as the company founder Anil Gupta died. The former employees founded the short-lived company Flootlit software which developed patches for Anco products.
