Aviator DRO & DRO Soft
One group of youngsters hearkened surely, as a server, and that move into electronic music you might like more, but there will always be at least are these tireless and always original AVIATOR DRO. Hymns like Nuclear Yes, Selector of frequencies, Industrial Love, Program spiral and countless more songs spread over his long career make them supporters of classic but not obsolete because their melodies remain as current as they were in their day and their letters, although some trivial, have more content than for its aesthetic might seem.
A few days ago, in our project of preserving material for our C64 and more specifically to the search of SIDs with which Dro Soft had the pleasure of delighting in loads of games that they distributed, we had the pleasure of cross words with Arcoiris, keyboardist and informative aesthetics of the group to resolve our doubts regarding the relationship between the group and Aviator DRO. What we said was this:
Aviator Dro was founded in 1981 and Dro Soft at 84. Both companies had the group members as partners, as well as some friends of ours, so were. Among them were the brothers Hernandez Rodero, very passionate about all this and Manolo Orcera was the programmer Dro Soft. The music, as you imagine, is not expressly composed for the game, but adapted. This in most cases I was in charge, with simple scores, because our technical possibilities were very limited and then he took care of the rest. Put the music on the burden was his idea. At first we were doing translations of games and Castilian that was what he had to change the original they sent us to edit. I think we put several issues, not just Baila war, but I have adapted sounds Spiral Program.
At home we are a genuine fanes the Commodore 64 and sometimes turn it on to play MULE. Dro billing we did it with VIC20 and then a Commodore 64. Quique Ordás, who was one of the members of the first team of the record and who made the programs, was a fierce playing Mission Impossible in the previous season DRO Soft.
Now we just have to keep looking for work with which we are entertained during loads of games. We do not know exactly what they are and if they get it, but, as in previous issues of preservation, we also need your help so that one can have a game edited by the former DRO with a topic group, it can preserve or us do know, we would be delighted.
