The Tronic publishing in Eschwege was editor of the first magazine for software computer that ASM (abbreviation for Current software market), and other magazines for home computers like the Computronic (04/1984 to 06/1987 edition).
The publishing house was established in 1983. Beginning of 1985, he took over some computer magazines from publishing Roeske as the CPU (Computer programming for entertainment; set in 1986), the Home Computer (last issue 05/1986), and the Compute with, which appeared in 1985 on a monthly basis until the issue 08/1988. Other computer magazines, especially in the PC area, eg "PC Active" followed.
In 1994 appeared "Inside MULTIMEDIA", the first computer magazine for the PC with CD-ROM.
The ASM was (also with CD-ROM) set in favor of the "PC Game" with the issue 05/1995. In addition, the magazine "Inside shareware" and "Inside Online" were issued.
In autumn 1996, the Tronic logs Publishing bankruptcy and all its magazines disappeared from the market in early 1997
