The German company Software 2000 was a development tank for various games.
The two brothers Andreas and Marc Wardenga founded the company in 1987 in Eutin, a small town in Schleswig-Holstein.

She landed her first success with the game Bundesliga Manager and the subsequent series.
The brand new game concept with a mixture of sports and strategy was unique to date.
The second major success came with the pizza-game series, this time not only male but also female players responded.

Software 2000 developed with a small team all the games itself.
However, it was limited to the German gaming market and thus gained a very limited audience.
Thus, problems were inevitable. Also the extension to different platforms for which it developed, including Atari ST, Amiga, C64, PC and later for the PlayStation and GameBoy Color, could not change that.
Then, when important people, the company started to leave it was clear that it could take much longer.
The more and more increasing quality of the games did the rest and so it happened that in 2002 the company had to file for bankruptcy due to financial difficulties.

In the period from 1989 to 1991, games under the label Magic Soft were published.
