Dixons, V&D and MCN.

Maurice de Hond was a pioneer in his generation, when he trying to get the Netherlands on the PC in the eighties.
For this, he promoted under the name Micro Computer Club Netherlands (MCN) include games and educational software in an eponymous magazine.
In addition, MCN run the computer division of V & D and Dixons.
They sold Vendex Headstart computers and the Commodore's to the public.
In 1987, they pulled the plug from the club, and the entire game industry in the Netherlands remained far underexposed.
